I’ve been asked hundreds of times about the advantages of the Stock Signals over the Truly Rich Club (TRC). So, I thought it’s best to write an article about the difference of the Stock Signals from the TRC. If someone asks about the difference of my product from TRC again, I will just give the link of this article. That’s a time-saver!
This article focuses on the “stock recommendation features” of both TRC and Stock Signals since that’s the focal point of all the feedback that I have received from former TRC members. That’s our common denominator. I won’t touch base on the spiritual aspect of TRC’s service.
The feedback that I have written here came from my clients. Many of them were former TRC members. On my Testimonials page, you will find their exact words. I’m re-echoing their words. As I keep on receiving feedback from former TRC members who have subscribed to the Stock Signals, I will also keep this article updated.
Here are the reasons why they left TRC and switched to the Stock Signals.
The response-time in the Stock Signals is 10 times faster than TRC.
Some of them said that it took days and weeks for their TRC subscription to be activated. When they emailed the support staff of TRC, it took days before they had received a reply.
If it takes days for TRC to reply to new subscriptions, I think the waiting period is just fine. TRC cannot be faulted with that. Why? Be considerate. Consider the holidays or weekends. Your payment must be verified first, of course. What I don’t know is if TRC also takes days to reply to concerns other than payment verification. The only feedback I received was about the waiting period for new subscriptions.
I think my customers could not help but compare my response time with the response time of TRC because me and my team respond swiftly. How swift is swift? Sometimes, we reply in the exact same minute upon receipt of your email. The way I serve in the Stock Signals is the way I want to be served. Confession: I don’t like to wait, as much as possible. When a customer emails his payment details, my marching order to my team is to verify the payment right away. Once verified, they must create a new account for the customer right away, too. The only reason why it will take us 4 to 12 hours to reply is when you email us when during non-business hours.
I have set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for myself and my team. One of my KPIs is the Average Response Time (ART). I coach myself by the end of each month. If I didn’t get a near-perfect ART score, I punish myself by kneeling on grains of salt from 12PM to 3PM. And that kneeling-on-grains-of-salt story is a joke! But when it comes to scoring myself with those self-imposed KPIs, I kid you not.
That ART metric is not just about responding to new subscriptions. It also covers our response time to posts in the forum, private messages on the Stock Signals’ Facebook Page, technical concerns sent via email, and comments on my website.
I am self-conscious on my performance. If I want to be served with a sense of urgency and rapid response, then, that should reflect with the way I serve my customers, too.
The Stock Signals has a section for traders. TRC does not.
TRC cannot be faulted with that again. Why? Their focus is in long-term investing. That’s self-explanatory. Why would they place a section for active trading when that’s not even their focus?
The thing is, my clients prefer the Stock Signals over TRC because of the availability of features for those who would like to trade while they maintain their long-term investing portfolio. Sometimes, the more options (not too much, though) you give to your clients, the more they like it. My stock recommendations are split into two tables. The Trade Alerts and Investors Picks tables.
The Trade Alerts section is for full-time traders and investors who would like to trade on their free time with their free cash. I publish trade setups (entry price range, stop-loss price, selling price range) of stocks that we would like to trade in this section. We do short-term position trading and momentum trading. Would you like to see how do my posts in the Trade Alerts section look like and what exactly am I posting? Visit the Exposed Trade Alerts page of my website. Days or weeks after we sold a stock, I document it regardless if it’s a win or a loss. Why do I document our plays? I do that for transparency’s sake. Also, they serve as samples for those who would like to see how I post and what I post in the Trade Alerts section before they subscribe to the Stock Signals.
On the other hand, the Investors Picks is a collection of resilient stocks that are good for long-term position investing. Many of my clients said that the Investors Picks is an improved and better version of TRC’s Strategic Averaging Method (SAM) table.
The Stock Signals’ Investors Picks table is better than TRC’s SAM table.
Let’s face it. Some people do not like seeing so many things on their screen. However, some prefer that they are informed on how you’ve arrived to such conclusion. TRC’s SAM table is easy to understand. They’re doing a good job on that simplicity of presentation. My clients have likened the Investors Picks because I include technical reasons behind my recommendations. They like it when I enable them to see things through my eyes. My goal is to empower my clients to know WHY we do WHAT we do and HOW we do it.
What makes the Investors Picks unique and better than TRC’s SAM?
- The recommended stocks with a BUY rating can be ranked based on technical parameters such as the sentiment of foreign investors, upside percentage, risk level, etc. TRC does not have this feature.
- If my system behind the Investors Picks foresees a continuing bearish sentiment, it will put the stock on a FORCED HOLD status. What’s the difference between the regular HOLD and FORCED HOLD? I put the stock on HOLD status if its price is already above our Greed Level Price. I put the stock on a FORCED HOLD status if its current price is still below the Greed Level but the possibility of a continuing downtrend is imminent. I put a distinct status for this scenario so that my clients won’t be asking, “Jaycee, why did you place Stock XYZ on hold when its price is still below our Greed Level?” When they see the FORCED HOLD status, then, they already know that we should all wait some more for the possibility of being able to buy more of that stock at a cheaper price just in case the projection of my system becomes true. TRC does not have this feature.
- My clients may re-rank the stocks according to the individual filters I used for their major ranking. For example, if my client wants to re-rank the stocks based on risk level only, he should click the Risk Level column and the table will re-rank the stocks according to Risk Level. The same thing happens when he re-ranks the list based on another filter. TRC does not have this feature.
In the Investors Picks, the parameters I used in ranking the stocks are shown. My clients are not clueless on what makes Stock XYZ ranked at a certain position. Every single stock that appears on the table has a dedicated thread in the forum where I post my analysis. The values of the used parameters are revealed. There’s no guesswork. When you tell your customers how you arrived into a conclusion, you empower them to decide confidently because they know why they do what they do.
The Stock Signals gives a clear and exact Buying Range but TRC members are groping in the dark on where exactly they should buy below the Buy Below Price.
Again, I guess simplicity of presentation is the main goal of TRC for its clients. Who does not like simplicity, anyway? I like simplicity, too! Perhaps, TRC gives its clients the freedom to decide on where they would like to buy below the Buy Below Price.
However, my clients prefer my Buying Range over TRC’s Buy Below Price because they get an outright idea at what range they should be buying the stock.
I already defined this on the Stock Signals’ description page. This is where the Stock Signals knocks TRC down again.
Technical questions are answered in the Stock Signals. TRC does not have a technical analyst readily available to respond right away.
I got this feedback in 2015. I am not sure if this is still the case with TRC. Apparently, I am still seeing TRC members soliciting technical analyses on Facebook Groups. So I think this is still the case. Nonetheless, if it’s true that TRC does not have a technical analyst, I’m pretty sure they have a fundamental analyst. Besides, they’re tied up with COL Financial. How is it possible for TRC not to have technical analysts in the house? But again, that’s just the feedback I got from my clients.
When you operate a business, no matter how crystal-clear you are with your post, you cannot expect all your customers to say, “Sir, yes Sir! Loud and clear, Sir. Roger that. 10-4!” The stock market is a niche that requires discussions. When there’s a need for discussions, there must be someone who can facilitate conversations. If you will assign a team who’s not equipped and trained to answer technical questions and whose job is only to acknowledge people’s questions with a “this is noted” remark, then, that team does not create an added value to your business setup.
In the Stock Signals, you may ask me for a technical justification for anything and everything I said. In most cases, you may not need to do that because I am proactive in posting the “whys” behind the “whats” of my posts.
The Stock Signals is known for independency. TRC’s recommendations are a duplicate of COL Financial’s COLing the Shots.
Do I piggy-back the stock recommendations of brokers? I do not. The entire Stock Signals has its own brain, platform, principles, and tools. When I analyze, it’s just me, myself, and I. I don’t get the validation of my analyses and interpretations from any person or entity. I validate myself. I take full accountability and responsibility for all that I do.
According to my clients, TRC’s duplication of COL’s COLing the Shots is a big turn-off for them. I would have felt the same had I been in their case. Why would I pay extra for something that is already inclusive in my subscription to COL’s services?
Nonetheless, if TRC is in partnership with COL Financial, of course, it’s natural for them to have the same voice. As soon as you’ve entered in a business partnership or a joint venture, you cannot have a 100% standalone voice on what you do. You got to blend and work together. So, again, we cannot blame TRC if it’s recommending COL’s COLing the Shots. It just so happens that I prefer to do things my way and on my own that’s why I don’t rely on any broker’s or person’s interpretation.
These are the reasons why Truly Rich Club members are transferring to the Stock Signals. Many of them have expressed their decision to subscribe to my service by the end of their subscription to TRC. At the end of the day, understand that you and I are rational beings who are capable to decide for ourselves on what we want. TRC does a good job. They are years older than my Stock Signals. I have my utmost respect for TRC, especially to Bo Sanchez. We’re so blessed that we live in a world where we are free to think and innovate the “good” to make a “better” version of it. I make sure that I am better than my yesterday’s best. And I think I can do better than what I do best.
