Spend zero to less time with people who possess the scarcity mindset.
People who possess the scarcity mindset are not fun to be with, especially if you hate essay writing.
Why essay writing?
Because they will question everything that you do. The worst part is that they question not because they want to know. They question because they want to imply that they have figured everything out and what you do is too good to be true.
For example, I just came across the FB Ad of a guy who’s in the game development industry. He wrote a book on how to write a game app. One negatron (the guy with a scarcity mindset) commented that the game developer is now selling a book because he is not earning that much on his game development business. The negatron also said that it’s too good to be true to reveal what you do to earn money and how you do it to people because you are just building future competitors by doing so.
I also regularly get a lot of questions from negatrons, most especially from Facebook trolls.
“Jaycee, why do you teach people how to invest in the stock market. Maybe you’re not earning that much on your own trades that’s why you’re selling consultancy services.”
“Jaycee, why do you sell digital marketing services? Why don’t you just build tons of websites and tell your team to apply your own digital marketing services to your own websites? Maybe you’re not that good in digital marketing that’s why you’ve decided not to keep it for yourself and sell it instead.”
“Jaycee, you always say you’re a busy guy. I’ve heard that you’ve partnered with several organizations for speaking engagements. Maybe your busyness is not making you earn much that’s why you’re venturing on speaking engagements.”
It’s almost impossible for a negatron to be a serial entrepreneur.
Entrepreneurship is about solving a problem. The solution to the problem is the business.
Here’s what negatrons believe: weakness is shared and strength is kept.
I’ve observed that nothing can satisfy the question of a person with a scarcity mindset.
I’ve already tried. It didn’t work!
If it was an essay writing, my English teacher would have given me a perfect score.
But again, a person with a scarcity mindset is not asking to know but to imply that he has figured everything out already and that you have the wrong motives for doing what you do.
You know the solution I’ve discovered on how to deal with negatrons?
Just ignore them.
I’m in the process of mastering the skill of IGNORING negatrons’ statements that are mistakenly punctuated with a question mark.
To a person who believes, no explanation is necessary.
To a person who does not believe, no explanation is enough.
The bigger you become in business, the more negatrons you attract.
This is why you need a mastermind group with like-minded people who support you, who tell you that you’re on the right track, and who mend you, if needed, with a love-inspired correction.
Have you ever been questioned by a negatron?
How did you handle the situation?
Do you have a mastermind group?
