Last February 18, 2018, I published my insights for NOW. That article garnered thousands of views and dozens of emails of appreciation. If you missed that article, read “NOW: Jump Up to 20 or Dive Down at 10 Next Week?“
I still have the same levels of support and resistance for this stock. Please refer to the link above for you to see my technical analysis and the chart.
I’m writing this article to grant the requests of many for an update. So here you go.
This chart below is set on a 5-minute time period. While it looks like a sideways trend at a glance, it actually paints a downward intraday trend.
The volume is thicker 30 minutes after the opening bell, 30 minutes before recess, and 30 minutes before the closing bell than the other times of the day.
Traders are in a wait-and-see mode. NOW’s daily volume has stayed below the 30-day volume average for the past 5 trading days. Every bullish stock must go through the consolidation stage at some point to check if it can gather enough momentum to continue moving up.
Is the uptrend direction sustainable when a bullish stock enters the consolidation period?
It’s not guaranteed. Some bullish stocks wipe out their recent gains before they make an attempt to bounce again.
Is NOW highly participated by online foreign brokers?
Only 4 out of 11 online foreign brokers participated. Watch out for the participation of CLSA in the next trading days.
Are foreign investors bullish on NOW?
They remain bearish. On a 30-day trading period, NOW is on a Net Foreign Selling worth PHP81,529,896.00.
Are the top 10 players this week buying, selling, holding their position?
I would say they’re leaning towards the buy-hold position based on the week-to-date data I have fed my Top 10 Players chart.
Participants with a 100% Buying and Selling Activity from Feb-26-2018 to Feb-28-2018 at 03:30PM:
- 9 out of 103 participants or 8.74% of all participants registered a 100% BUYING activity
- 3 out of 103 participants or 2.91% of all participants registered a 100% SELLING activity
- Top 10 Players’ Buying Average: 13.7444
- Top 10 Players’ Selling Average: 13.8346
Did today’s top 10 players maintain the buy-hold stance today?
I would say “yes.” Look at the buying average of the top 10 players below.
For those of you who have become familiar with how I interpret my Top 10 Players chart, you might want to ask, “But their buying average is higher than their selling average. How could you say that they maintain their buy-hold stance?”
Well, none of the top 10 players today registered a red bar (sold shares) that’s longer than the blue (total turnover value) or green (bought shares) bar. That’s why.
Participants with a 100% Buying and Selling Activity as of Feb-28-2018 at 03:30PM:
- 20 out of 78 participants or 25.64% of all participants registered a 100% BUYING activity
- 4 out of 78 participants or 5.13% of all participants registered a 100% SELLING activity
- Top 10 Players’ Buying Average: 13.3213
- Top 10 Players’ Selling Average: 13.3526
The majority of today’s volume was registered on the upper half of my Price-Volume Distribution chart. NOW might register a green candle tomorrow. Watch out for 13.00 and 13.40. They might play as support zones tomorrow.
Did NOW’s sideways movement this week bring it back to the low-risk level?
NOW is still marked as an extremely high-risk stock based on my Risk Level chart.
I hope you’ll find this update helpful just as how much you’ve appreciated “NOW: Jump Up to 20 or Dive Down at 10 Next Week?“
